In his first 4 months as Mayor, Patrick Keefe has:

• Passed a budget that reduced general government spending by over one million dollars, while increasing our investment in public safety.

• Reimplemented senior water discount program.

• Secured over $400,000 in grant funding for rehabilitation of McMackin Field.

• Broke ground on the Point of Pines Fire Station.

• Hired eight new police officers, and 11 new firefighters, while purchasing three new pieces of fire apparatus to bolster public safety efforts.

• Addressed concerns around speeding in residential areas by installing speed bumps and increasing police presence.

• Implemented free parking at meters and in municipal lots for Veteran License Plate holders.
